what do you mean? For now the only way I managed to fit wallpapers to the portrait is:
- choosing the ones already in the workshop and hoping that their central portion will be interesting enough for the 21:9 portrait (most flags work, and some animated gifs)
- making my own videos, editing in the center the portion I want to be displayed on the portrait screen, and saving the video file as 16:9: the portion showed will be the one in the center.
Here a pic to explain what I mean

This is a 16:9 ratio picture. My 21:9 portrait screen will show only the green portion, no way to adjust it. Very few wallpapers in the workshop can let me choose the position (vertical or horizontal shift) and none of them lets me choose the zoom amount (only the videos: center, cover, and stretch).
This doesn't exist for 2D scenes yet, which is what you mean in your second post I think. But they will get the same options, yeah.
