Forced Alt Tabbing

I am periodically being alt tabbed from my game when the background animation loops. When i am not running anything fullscreen it doesn't do anything only when im in a fullscreen application.

Which wallpapers are you using? Are you using multiple wallpapers in a playlist?

Yes i am. I have a fire watch background made in unity which seems to do it more than the others.

I turned off keep running on Other application maximized and Other application fullscreen last night and it seemed to fix the problem. So i turned them back to keep running just now and ive been alt tabbed once in 15 minutes with the firewatch background. I can live without the fire watch background but i would quite like to be able keep the "keep running" setting on. I got alt tabbed on devil daggers while doing a world record pace of 70 seconds so if you've played that game you'll understand how difficult that was for me.

Currently I'm not quite sure if I could fix this issue for Unity based wallpapers. I do have some ideas, but since it's an application on its own, I don't have total control over what it does on my end.

I believe at least for videos and 3D wallpapers including the transition effect of playlists, there should be no alt-tabbing or focus issues on the beta: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/350544272219415004/

For now I'd suggest to not use the Unity based ones in your case, yeah. If there's a possibility for me to handle it somehow then I will do so.

the fix is to tell wallpaper engine to stop the wallpaper when you play games
