Removing the "select multiple icons" blue box on desktop

So you know how when you click, hold and drag your mouse when on the desktop and blue box comes up to select multiple icons?

I want to find a way to remove that because some workshop stuff is interactive and the blue box ruins the experience a bit.

Im on windows 10 if that matters.

Like for example on the sheep one that comes with the engine, when you pick up a sheep and move it around the blue box for selecting multiple icons comes up.

How do you remove that?

If you double click and hold the second click and drag, the blue box would not come out.

But do you know if there is a way to turn it off completely? I know it seems pretty unlikely that you can, but if you guys know a way?

im afrade theres not a way to completely turn it off sadly..

if you hide icons (right click -> view -> hide desktop icons) it gets rid of it
