Animation stops whenever Chrome + other applications are open and fullscreen

I have a triple monitor setup and whenever I have chrome or a few other programs (Matlab, visual studio, Rstudio) open full-screen on one of the monitors the animation stops on the other two. Are other people having this problem? Is there any known fix for this? Thanks peoples

Perfect, didnt notice i had to change it in the settings. Thanks, I love my shiny animated desktop
