Why not add offline mode

be nice if you had offline mode so we dont have to be on steam to change background also i pin it to taskbar and if i click on it to open says stupid ♥♥♥♥ like flip flop realy wtf is that ????

It has a tray icon, it cannot be pinned to the task bar.

It doesn't require Steam to be running, it works offline already.

But in order to change back ground it starts steam up ?

No it doesn't Steam unless you click on the Workshop buttons that are opening Workshop.

is there a way to use workshop wallpapers OFFLINE? cause i cant switch between all the workshop wallpapers whilst OFFLINE..

It should work unless you have Steam running too in offline mode.

Because sadly Steam will report to Wallpaper Engine that there are simply no subscribed wallpapers, instead of reporting it is in offline mode.

i figured out how i went to F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\431960 and copied the files of say (alien isolation menu) and then moved the files into F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\projects\defaultprojects ------------------ and it works... if i go online ill have dupes but youll see which is which... one will say (workshop-unsubscribe) and the other wont!!
