Wallpaper Engine

Nvidia Geforce Experience FPS Counter
Hello all. I use Geforce Experience to monitor my FPS within games. However with wallpaper engine, Geforce Experience categorizes it as a game and therefore an FPS meter is in the top left of my screen. Is there any way to turn this setting off for wallpaper engine without disabling it for the rest of my games?

Does GeForce Experience have an exclude list somewhere? These applications hook into any kind of 3D app, except the ones that are excluded, usually they have a list so the user can add additional apps. You'll need to add wallpaper32/64.exe there and it should go away.
nope it doesn't have the exclude list. So the fps counter just showing on my desktop.
Hope you guys can fix this problem. :)

I have attempted to reach out to Nvidia in the past about other issues and never succeeded. So I don't think they will fix this until it gets enough attention from everybody.
I don't bother with GeForce Experience myself, but doesn't it have like a hotkey you can set to toggle off the FPS counter when you want? Then when you're playing a game you could simply toggle it back on?
it's because it's registering it as a game. just turn off the FPS counter when you're on your desktop. i personally don't use GeForce Experience either, i find it's nothing but bloatware.

Plus have you checked that there really is no setting for this in the 3D per-program settings of the Nvidia Control Panel? GeForce Experience itself doesn't seem to have anything, but I could imagine that it pops up in that list of settings.

I agree. I found the GeForce Experience was mainly bloatware and I was better off to manually adjust the settings for games I play.
Soooo, what I might suggest is you to un-install GeForce Experience from your computer if you don't really use it. You can do that and still keep your graphic drivers installed.

Or, possibly using Alt+F12 keys can toggle off or on the FPS counter. I found this post on the nVidia forums:

"...press alt+F12 will turn off the FPS counter.

You might have to do so again when in a game to turn it back on but that's the best answer you're going to get I'm afraid.

Also there is a Bug with the FPS counter in Win 10 it seems. Even with the FPS counter off it will still show up in Cortana."

I fixed it by change Graphics API to OpenGL.Open WallpaperEngine's setting and change it.
Gemini...did u fix it? All you have to do is press ALT + Z and go to settings and disable FPS counter....
hey guy :D just let the FPS counter on and shut down the PC. when you start up FPS counter won't show unless you restart W.E.
Good luck ;)
