EDIT: Well for now i just turned off the OSD features and it works, i dont rly need in game OSD anyway as my second monitor has my gadgets where i can see what i want anyway so for now this is fine :p
Well I'm still waiting for EVGA to take care of it, didn't know that XOC has no server tool. I think you might have to launch it manually though by going to its install directory - XOC is the one that is on Steam, right?
But yeah if you disable the hook (the OSD features I guess?) then it stops injecting itself.
And lastly it's also possible to binary patch their .exe files to exclude Wallpaper Engine by default.
nah the XOC version is just the newer version of Precision X that was redone because of some riva tuner copyright stuff that went down i believe, but ill check real quick for the server file in directory......and u were correct in looking in the install folder for precision, found the server exe, took a bit for it to load up but once it did i added launcher exe and wallpaper 64 exe and turned back on the osd in precision and didnt get the error so far. Like i said though its not a big deal not even using the OSD since i have a second monitor so no worries regardless but i would def suggest to let ppl know that the server exe is in the install and that is only way to access it since it dont run in task bar like old precision.
So ty for the info and obviously awesome program :)
You can exclude things from Afterburner using the RivaTuner Statistics Server that comes with it, it has an icon in the tray to do this.
There are no genuine memory leaks I know about right now, but, coincidentally, RivaTuner's hook might cause leaks, because it corrupts the application in memory so anything can happen.
