Do you not set the .exe to run as admin only in the properties, if you did that, revert it.

launcher is missing arguments

Remove the admin flags please of all applications, it cannot work through Steam if you do that. If you need to keep them to combat some other issue, you can run it without Steam with wallpaper32.exe .

how do u remove admin???

Right click the executable where admin rights were added/where you are getting the error with and choose "properties", then the tab "compatibility" and then disable "run this program as administrator".

im new to all the pc stuff so even that is just a lil confusing. Not sure where the executable is or when and how it was added, i can launch the 32 and 64 versions through the files but the launcher in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine gives me the fatal application error every time i try and launch it through that, i want wallpaper engine to showup when i start my pc

Try this file first: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\wallpaper32.exe

Here right click it, open the properties dialog from the menu and see if the "run this program as administrator" checkbox has been set and unset it and click OK. If you are getting the error "740" from this thread, then there must be some file where this option was set, but I am not aware of Steam setting this option so it is hard to guess where you have to look.
