How to REALLY delete backgrounds and free up disk space!?
I have downloaded like 50 destop backgorunds for Wallpaper Engine via the Steam Workshop so far. A lot of them require quite a lot of disk space ( 1 Gb and more).

To free up space I unsubscribe some of the backgrounds in the Wallpaper Engine application. But, according to the data explorer of Win 10, this doesn't seem to create any more free space at all! Not on the partition where I have installed all my Steam games (and Wallpaper Engine) and not on any other partition.

Therefore I am asking where those backgrounds are stored to delete them manually; or for any other procedure to free up disk space again that is taken now by downloaded backgrounds.

I am greatfull for any advice. :)

Steam is supposed to delete the files after unsubbing, but only when it doesn't show you as 'in-game' anywhere, so you need to close the browse window or any running games before it works.

Thank you for your answers!
That was exactly what I was looking for.

Just found out that one video (Bergensbanen minutt for minutt) is more than 7 hours in length and it weighs 21,5 Gb!!! But when browsing wirkshop the Application shows it with 1625 MB instead.

Anyway now that I have control and can delete stuff manually everything is fine! :D
