Does this reduce PC lifespan?

Streaming videos from disk constantly could actually be more of a concern, depending on video file size and your settings (only if you don't have an SSD though, those won't wear out from constant reading).

There is an option to preload videos into RAM instead of streaming them, or you could set the playback options to pause wallpapers more aggressively.

It depends on your specific wallpaper, which one are you using? I would avoid videos that are very large, that is all, the default wallpapers are no problem for example.

dont know just bought it havent even downloaded it yet.

i have i7 6700k + gtx1080 + 16gb ddr4-3000mhz + 500gb evo 850 SSD

It's depending on your RAM amount. If you have 4 GB RAM, It's probably not the best for 4K Live wallpapers. My recommended RAM amount is 8 GB. :GDDemon:

With an SSD you won't have any issues then, because SSDs don't wear out from reading at all so their lifespan cannot be reduced by a live wallpaper.
