Phone Won't Pair To Computer
I tried to connect using the automatic and manual connections, both of which did not work. WPE was paired before, but it stopped being able to connect, so I was trying to re-pair it. I have sent the log file over. Thanks

Are you comfortable with tools like "Wireshark"? It sounds like you have some experience so perhaps you already know this tool already. It's difficult for us to reliably judge networking issues since there are just too many devices involved. But using something like Wireshark, you could monitor the traffic and, for example, check whether the packets are truly being sent from your PC to your router. And using a similar tool on your phone, you could verify whether the packets are being seen by it.

A simpler thing to test first might be resetting the desktop app with the "reset" button in the general settings and clearing all paired devices on the phone. We've tested functionality when only one device gets reset and the other one still thinks it's paired, so it really shouldn't be the issue, but just in case it might be worth resetting both and trying to pair them anew.

Thanks for sending the log. It looks like you are using the beta version, sending scene type wallpapers wouldn't work there because the beta includes new features that aren't compatible with the current Android version. So you should go back to the currently released version, but I don't think that this will affect the initial connection anyway.

Are you connected with a home network? From the log it looks like you're connected over WiFi, but oddly enough the network has changed the two times that are visible in the log. Once you're in 10.0.X.X, the other time in 172.16.X.X. Does this sound correct to you? Perhaps you changed your network config while trying to make it work so if that's the case then this would of course be fine.

The Windows firewall seems to confirm that the program has access and you don't seem to have any other security software that might be preventing this from working. Have you checked in your router whether it has any "isolation" options and disabled anything like those? Sometimes they are enabled by default and would prevent this from working.

No problem! I tried to use the beta to see if any connection issues were fixed in that version, but obviously nothing changed. I simply forgot to change it back to the public release version.

I am connected to my home WIFI, and those two changes should be just fine. I am not exactly sure where I would find those settings for "isolation", but I am also unsure if that is really the issue, since the connection was working fine just this morning, but suddenly stopped when I tried again this afternoon/evening. There were no changes to any of the devices I am currently using. Is there anything else I might be able to try? Thank you!

I actually didn't set up the WIFI myself, it was my dad who set it up, so I myself don't know the applications he might have used or is currently using. On another note, it seems that resetting the desktop app worked perfectly. It was instantly recognized by my phone. Turns out that the 10.0.X.X was the IP I should have used to connect, instead of 172.X.X.X. Thanks for the help!
