Home and lock screen seperation

I would really appreciate the ability to set the home screen and lock screen individually with different wallpapers if at all possible.

Not sure I understand what the limitation is and how/why "it's just how android works".
I mean I can personally select a different locks screen and home background when setting them with traditional still images, so why using this app to set them doesn't give the option? Why can I change the home screen background without changing the lock screen, but if I want to change the lock screen then I have to change the home screen, too?

This is a "live wallpaper app". Android has legit support for custom live wallpaper apps and they only have these options.

The very menu where you get these options to pick the screen is provided by your phone, not by us.

Not true because I was able to achieve it on accident by dropping my phone lol All of a sudden when I picked it up I had a different live wallpaper for my lock screen which was Goku Black but didn't pair well with my home being luffy so I eventually changed it which sucks because I can't get it to work again lol
