Failed to Create Window
Failed to Create Window error message pops up sometimes randomly, this is very annoying because sometimes I am gaming or working on something and it automatically tabs me out to show me the window error. Wallpaper engine still works fine, it doesnt crash and it keeps going. Not sure if it's one wallpaper causing this or something with the program itself. I am on Windows 11.

Are you using a playlist and is this happening when cycling or at seemingly random points in time? Try changing the "monitor identification" option to "Layout" in the "General" tab of the Wallpaper Engine settings for starters.

Generally, this means something is interfering with the way that Wallpaper Engine creates an invisible window, most likely this would be another app. Are you using anything else that modifies your desktop or some sort of "overlay" software? It could also be a very odd driver issue, try doing a clean reinstallation of your graphics card drivers.

Hi, it just popped up again. I am using a playlist, changing every 1 min. It happens randomly during the changing cycle that by the time the error window pops up, the wallpaper engine is still running in the background fine just the error pops up and takes me out of whatever it is I am doing. I tried the Layout option and reinstalled my graphics drivers. I use Nvidia, I dont use any sort of overlays. The error is still occuring :(

Hi Tim, following up and wondering if you have any other suggestions to try?
