Wallpapers flickering when changing

I have my wallpapers set up to change every 3 minutes. Every time they do the current wallpaper will change into 2 others in the span of a second before changing back to itself and then (using the "clouds" transition) will change into the next wallpaper. Then the process will repeat 3 minutes later when that wallpaper has to change.
Does anyone have any fixes for this?

I'm having the same issue. And to add, I don't use any wallpaper on my second display, it's solid black, but everytime Wallpaper Engine changes wallpaper on main display the second display also flashes different wallpapers.

I have this set on 4 monitors and every single monitor has this issue, all showing the same wallpaper 4 times before changing to their respective playlists. to add - all of the backgrounds flashing before changing are the ones that were on the displays before the change.

I am having the same issue with my setup as well. I did find an old steam community post that says change your monitor identity but that did not seem to fix it. https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/3194740147290185074/

This is a recording of my screens and what it is doing for me. I have tried changing the identity to what they suggest in the post above and also try the others out to see if that fixes it. For me non of that worked
