Issues with Windows 11

Just decided to rip the band-aid off early and update to Win11, most things seem to work so far but whatever reason wallpaper engine causes severe "lag" on my monitor

Did some research and saw HDR was causing issues but I'm not using HDR however oddly enough opening up the HDR tab in settings (just opening it nothing more) instantly makes everything work again.

anyone got any ideas why a newly updated system is doing this?

Did you try a clean reinstallation of your graphics card drivers? In the past, there were some users who had broken drivers after updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without doing a full reinstallation of Windows itself.
