Animated wallpaper just stops playing randomly

Hey,

So I don't know why or how is this happens, but here is the thing: I play on my PC, wallpaper is paused on my monitor while the game is in full screen. Randomly, I just notice that either my wallpaper is back to the default Windows 10 one, or the animation stops playing and the animated wallpaper becomes a typical wallpaper. Any time either one of this happens, the tray icon disappears (Wallpaper Engine stops running), and I need to restart it.

I have a theory when this happens: it's when Wallpaper Engine runs out of my saved wallpapers. But I thought it keeps repeating my playlist?

You are probably playing a game with the BattlEye anti-cheat and have low-latency mode enabled in the Nvidia drivers:

Well, I can confirm that most likely this is what causes it, since I have Low Latency Mode enabled, and I'm also playing PlanetSide 2 which has BattlEye.

Try turning low-latency mode off and then just enable it for all games individually, that will work just fine.
