After the update, all my works were deleted from the workshop, what should I do?
A couple of days ago there was an update to the wallpaper engine, my wallpaper did not start after the update, everything worked fine, then I tried to reinstall the application.
After the reinstallation, I noticed that all the settings were lost and my works were deleted both in the program itself and in the workshop.
I tried to restore the work, nothing worked, there was no answer to my question.
I started trying to create a new wallpaper of my own, a few days later my status FOR APPROVAL disappeared
Then the developer wrote that my APPROVED status was removed because I allegedly deleted the wallpaper, I didn’t delete it at all, and because of this there were numerous complaints. If someone has encountered the same problem, tell me what to do and what is the period for blocking the wallpaper to the APPROVED status, is this status permanent or for some time.

If you are reading this, then answer how long the blocking lasts and when it will be lifted.

I can see you work here
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198263191281/myworkshopfiles/

so they did not got deleted, from the workshop,

but if stuff got deleted from the workshop it was by human hands , unless your work got banned and then auto deleted after a period of time

or someone hijacked your account and deleted your stuff manualy

am not sure if I get it but you say in the end that your are blocked ? do you mean Banned ?
if so you recived an EMAIL telling you how long is the ban

you can try to contact the steam support (help button at the top) and ask them if they can restore your workshops

Capt.Luke It makes no sense for me to delete my works on which I spent a lot of my time just to delete them.
Due to this problem, I even changed the password so that there would be no hacking.
And the wallpaper you sent me a link to is new, I started making it recently
And before that there were 19 works in the workshop.
Today the developer wrote to me in a personal message that because your wallpapers were deleted by you, I didn’t delete them, he wrote that users started complaining because of this, I won’t get APPROVAL for all the WALLPAPERS
And for how long he didn’t even write to me, so I want to understand how long the blocking on the WALLPAPER APPROVAL status lasts.
This is what I mean by the icon on the wallpaper in the form of a green cup.

this one is form january

there is no such thing as "blocking on the WALLPAPER APPROVAL"

to be approved you need to sumbit your work to the dev and they take the decision if yes or no they approve it

Capt.Luke Thank you for sending me this information, I will keep it in mind

If I had to guess, they don't want to approve all of them all at once because the entire first page of Approved Wallpapers would be just your wallpapers. This isn't anything new, they've done this before like when everyone was doing Arkane Jinx and Spider-Man wallpapers. And I'm pretty sure they've delayed approvals for users who have had to mass upload before.

It makes no sense from a technical point of view that the update would delete your Workshop uploads. The process that performs the update has no access to Steam in the first place and the main user interface isn't fetching a list of Workshop uploads and then deletes them one-by-one. It cannot happen, it has never happened and will never happen.

Someone with access to your Steam account deleted all Workshop uploads. If that was you or someone else, I do not know. Account security is everyone's responsibility and if your account is potentially compromised, it's another good reason to not give the account a large audience. In the past, we had users delete and reupload their works in hopes of getting higher upvote / downvote ratios and more exposure, at the cost of disgruntling all the users who had to go and find all the uploads again and who would wake up to a black wallpaper screen, causing support burden for us (imagine this for wallpapers with ten thousands of subscribers).

This is why we stop approving cases like this, it's incentivizing users to act in bad faith and to flood the approval list with their own work and to ensure compromised accounts cannot mass-upload potentially spammy / harmful content.

My works did not contain any malicious content and my page was not compromised
Before all your updates, everything worked fine. I can only guess that my page could have been hacked, but this should not happen again.
I don’t understand why you removed the approval marks on my new works.
You or another developer, as you say, can either mark or remove the marks, people will still look for these works and hope to see them again, and on the contrary, I want a large audience to admire and enjoy these works again
And before you make such broad conclusions that my works are not worthy, I think that you are mistaken, and you should always give a chance in such cases, because this can happen to anyone.
I'm not trying to blame you for being your fault, for the most part I want you to give the authors a chance to restore or redo their work in order to maintain people's desire to see them again.
I hope for your understanding that you will think about it in the future and give me a chance to show my work to a wide audience again, since users write to me every day who really want to see my work both in recommendations and with approval.
I apologize in advance for wasting your time on me.
