Need help uninstalling wallpaper engine
Just in case Wallpaper engine causes any issues, I want to know how to uninstall it. I need to know two things:
1. Does Wallpaper Engine need to be off? Do I need to turn off booting it up on startup, especially on High Priority?
2. Can I uninstall it using Steam, Programs and Features, or through an uninstall.exe of some sort?

You can uninstall it using Steam. We have configured Steam to disable the auto start and to shutdown Wallpaper Engine when uninstalling automatically.

Now whether Steam will 100% do that or not we can't guarantee. But if you don't uninstall Steam before uninstalling Wallpaper Engine then you shouldn't have any issues. Uninstalling Steam will curiously not uninstall any installed games or apps and that's quite confusing.

Good. I uninstalled it via Steam. After that, in the startup tab in Task Manager (or msconfig) it has been removed. Doesn't show up anymore in the programs/features. All that's left are some wild files in the directory in which I installed it. But no sign up the original .exe file. It just contains a json or two and a few folders like bin, etc. I will make a guide for this someday.
I was really hoping on having a developer answer the question, and you were one, so thank you! Are you planning on porting Wallpaper Engine to Linux? I've been thinking about trying out Linux. And if you will port it over, is it okay if I can have some credit for it?
