That said, performance largely depends on the wallpaper and FPS setting you are using.
I did test with GPU-Z and the usage was more than what Task Manager shows. At the 539MHz GPU and 300Mhz Memory clock the usage is one second 20% and one second 99% when running on 60fps. At 30fps, the usage is 40% stable. I have to mention that the wallpaper is dynamic 2D. GPU temp when running at 60fps is 46c which is really high for a desktop 2D wallpaper.CPU temp goes up to 44c and memory usage is 850MB.
remove the space before com !!!
Memory and CPU usage all depend on the particular wallpaper you have chosen, some wallpapers are badly optimized and use a lot while others use little to nothing. Keep in mind that your video memory is never empty. I have Wallpaper Engine turned off right now and I don't really have anything open, yet my VRAM contains 1.2 GB of data. There is always something in there and it's not necessarily related to Wallpaper Engine - your computer simply needs it for basic functions.
Any wallpaper that has been marked as "Approved" meets some minimum performance standards so you can look out for that.
