iCUE v5.5.134 - RGB Lighting Off in Wallpaper Engine

Hiya

My Wallpaper Engine has been working fine with iCUE for a while now (RGB lighting sync with the selected wallpaper), but after updating to version 5.5.134 just recently, RGB wallpaper lighting does not trigger at all (all lighting turns off / black). RGB lighting still works in the iCUE software (everything is detected fine) if I don't run wallpaper engine.

Tried various things to get it to work in the settings and reinstalling iCUE and wallpaper engine but to no avail.

The only solution i've found that works is to roll back to a previous version of iCUE. The one that is available on the corsair website is version 4.33.138, and this one works completely fine for me.

I was wondering, is anyone else having the same problem, and is there a workaround to get it work with the latest version of iCUE?

You're not alone, it seems to be a bug with iCUE 5.5 and we have informed Corsair about this:
