Is Wallpaper Engine not compatible with W11, or not compatible with fences?
So, I have W11 and I have both Fences and Wallpaper Engine installed, it seems that when I have both of them my taskbar flickers randomly and my icons goes iconless for a while (white file icon) and then gets the icon back weather is a png or just an executable, I don't really know why this happens it started happening randomly as I always used WE and Fences

If I close Fences, my taskbar don't go crazy anymore. If I have Fences and not WE, my taskbar don't go crazy anymore. If I have Fences and I pause the WE backgrounds, it doesn't happen. So both running don't seem to really be the problem, Does someone know what is going on?

Wallpaper Engine is fully compatible with Windows 11 (we are running Windows 11 ourselves on our machines these days). The issue also does not look like something that the app can cause, the root cause is likely another app. In the past, Fences had some issues with Wallpaper Engine that would cause issues like that but I have not heard about any issues in a while.

I think Fences released version 4.0 for Windows 11 as a separate product, are you using that one or Fences 3.0? You might want to check with them, in the past it helped to set a solid black color as a Windows background, though that was Fences 3.0 and on Windows 10, I am not sure if that still helps in your case.

Aside from that, are you maybe using any other apps to modify the taskbar? Try setting a dark theme in the Windows 11 theme settings, this can also help.

I tried the solid black blackground and it helped, Yes, I was using Fences 3, For testing purposes, I sailed on the sea and I Arghhh! for a Fences 4 and it seemed to help too. I was using another program to make my taskbar transparecnt called TranslucentTB (Windows app) But well, I got a few solutions now, One of them is to use a black Background or Buy Fences 4, thanks a lot.
