Wallpaper application opening but not usable.

I have tried every possible solution for this but just cannot wrap my head around it. NVIDIA overlay has been turned off, wallpaper engine has been given clearance by anti virus, and it even worked on another user account. It just doesn't work on my main account, which obviously is a problem because that's where all my stuff is. The scan for problems feature detects nothing, I've uninstalled and deleted every file, reinstalled, tried copying the files from the working account to this account, but nothing seems to work. It just doesn't make any sense. When I first bought wallpaper engine, it actually worked for a couple weeks but then froze and never worked again. When the application is open, it's on the bar at the bottom of my screen. I can open the settings via the system tray icon, I just can't access the app or any wallpapers.
On windows 11.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

It looks like you sent a log file all the way back in May but nothing newer. I looked at your old conversation and log file but there is really nothing in it that indicates a problem. No crash, nor errors or anything.

You are saying it worked on another user account, do you mean another Steam account or another Windows account? If it is on another Windows account, it could be a weird file permission issue. Did you try and fully uninstall and delete the wallpaper_engine directory and then reinstall the app on your current Windows user account? It sounds like maybe your Windows account does not have the rights to even run the program, which would also explain why there is nothing in the logs - the app never really runs.

I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled wallpaper engine, I'll send a new log file once I've scanned it again. Do you know how I could change the permissions for wallpaper engine?
