Before the update everything was good!
My drivers and sistem are all up to date. Does anyone have a solution for this?
My gpu is a 3070.
I am not sure if this is really related to the 22H2 update, it has been out for over a month now and we have not had any similar reports, my best guess that it would be either a very specific Windows setting or a conflict with another app that you might be using. The other user has unfortunately not gotten back to me, are you using any desktop modification software or similar (see my post above)?
I'm having other problems beside this... For example, my browsers are artifacting on youtube with the videos paused.
When it's paused, if I move the cursor between the close tab and open new tab, or the superior part of the browser, it starts to blink artifacts and breaking fonts on the page. If I turn off acceleration(windows or browsers) this problem goes away, not the blinking task bar with wallpaper engine.
Did a clean install of windows 10 22h2 and it solved all the problems, that's why I'm thinking this might be faulty update still... but why stick with windows 10 when all the optimizations are coming for the 11, right?
But I'm still positive that this is not my gpu, cause I tested on fur mark for a certain time, and played lots of heavy games for hours and it was all good. Also my gpu is only 2 months old.
Usually when issues are as rare as this, it's some highly specific issue with the individual computer, though, speaking from experience.
I don't know if this was the reason of my problems, but since the problems went away with with the downgrade I'll stick with W10 until the end of support in 2025 maybe.
PS: I was suspecting that hardware acceleration was causing my problems, even with that turned on, windows 10 behaves smooth with no artifacts or any graphical issues, glad my hardware has no physical problem.
It often prevents me from tabbing and delays it.

basically open regedit
go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
find HungAppTimeout, delete it, restart computer
