Windows 10 Background Slideshow "Peeks" Through

I previously had Windows 10 to change the background every 30 minutes with the slideshow personalisation. Until I turned this off my previous background images where showing instead of the Wallpaler Engine background. This seems to last as long as the transition effect between the two images then things return to Wallpaper Engine. Simply turning off the slideshow obviously stops this but I thought I would bring it to your attention.

I'm seeing the same thing. I have one monitor with my slideshow and one with an animated one, but the animated one interrupts for a slight moment when changing wallpapers.

Yeah I have noticed this myself, I could not find a good solution yet.

Changing the background to a static one or removing the fade effect are possible for me to do, but I think some people would not be too happy about this either.

Maybe the best solution would be to just implement my own slideshow wallpaper and mirror the Windows options at some point.

I noticed a similar thing happening with virtual desktop switching and the wallpaper fading in when logging on. I assume this is because the Windows animation still happen on top of the animated wallpaper. Not sure how easy it is to place the wallpaper on top.

But mirroring a slideshow wallpaper would be perfect actually. Removing the fade effect using an option in the settings would be good as well I think.
