Yeah I have noticed this myself, I could not find a good solution yet.
Changing the background to a static one or removing the fade effect are possible for me to do, but I think some people would not be too happy about this either.
Maybe the best solution would be to just implement my own slideshow wallpaper and mirror the Windows options at some point.
But mirroring a slideshow wallpaper would be perfect actually. Removing the fade effect using an option in the settings would be good as well I think.
