Wallpaper UI won't open
When I launch the app it displays the icon on the taskbar and I can see the preview of the window. When I click on the window it won't open. I have tried opening it from the shortcut, steam, and from the small icon and still nothing. I have searched for a solution on here and online, but nothing works. I uninstalled steam and deleted all files and reinstalled, still no. My system meets the requirements and everything. I can access the settings fine. How can I fix this issue so I can use the app again?

Could you try and switch to the latest Wallpaper Engine beta? See this guide:

Let me know if that does not fix the issue for you.

Okay I switched to the beta and it still won't open.

Please try closing Steam completely, then double click the tray icon of Wallpaper Engine. Does the browser open now, without Steam running in the background?

Do you perhaps have any idling tools or tools that spoof the Steam client on the PC? The settings don't connect to Steam immediately, but the wallpaper browser does, so perhaps there is an issue with that.

I closed steam completely and tried to open from the tray icon. Same issue, I can see the window preview on the task bar but it still won't open. This is a new pc and I don't know of any tools that could be causing this. I uninstalled antivirus and tried to disable GeForce Overlay and everything.

Is the preview fully rendered and does it look normal? Or is it just i.e. a white or black rectangle or what do you see?

Maybe you have a second monitor active and the window is simply being restored to that, because your Windows desktop is still extending to that monitor. Even if it's turned off or not connected, Windows might be doing that.

Try pressing Win + P and select "PC screen only" this should tell Windows to only use one screen and remove any hidden desktop space.

That worked thank you! I only have one monitor but for some reason it was extended to a second one. Not sure how that happened.
