Wallpaper engine prevents display sleep

Whenever wallpaper engine is active (not paused) it seems to prevent my monitors from sleeping. pausing it seems to allow sleep to work normally. Setting scene type wallpapers has no effect on the issue.

Does it start working if you disable the "Audio output" option in the "General" tab of the settings? A full restart may be necessary for this to take effect.

Just tried that and it has no effect. I have also tried powercfg requests and it shows all on none.

Thanks. Please try disabling the Nvidia Share overlay if it's currently enabled and perhaps also any hooks/overlays from Nahimic. Please restart the PC then to make sure all hooks are inactive and check if Windows's sleep behavior is normal again.

disabling GFE overlay and then restarting seems to have done the job. I will test later to see if there is a way to isolate GFE from wallpaper engine. Thanks for your help
