Computer crashes at lock screen

My computer automatically locks the screen when I leave the computer.But the computer will crash after some time.(The fan stays at high speed and I cannot light the screen)
This will not happen after I close the wallpaper.

Can I stop wallpaper when I lock my windows?
I want my computer to stay running without crashing.

Actually the program pauses the wallpaper already when the screen is locked, perhaps you are using a wallpaper that has an issue with that.

Can you delete the Wallpaper Engine profile in the Nvidia Control Panel and restart the program completely without Steam:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\wallpaper32.exe

If you start it through Steam, the profile will be recreated.
