hyperlink in wallpaper to desktop google chrome?
Hello today I made my timetable in html format with all my school online links as hrefs
but instead of it opening in browser as I would like, it opens in the wallpaper, which is not desired ... is there any way to make it, that it opens in browser like google chrome ?

Just like keyboard input, I think it would be fine if local files would allow opening hyperlinks in a default browser, so we will note this down to look into it. (We do have a huge number of requests though so this doesn't mean we can implement it soon.)

It's not that Wallpaper Engine is preventing anything, rather that hyperlinks don't have a definition to get opened by a different browser to begin with, we would first have to figure that out. The web wallpaper is a browser itself and opening a link into "another" browser is not something that is implemented by the browser (Chromium) by default.

oh well thanks anyway, i kind of thought there might not be a way yet because i didnt find anything of sort on the internet xD
but i did a work around where i put all the links in url files and put them on top of the time table on the desktop as icons, it looks kinda ugly but it works i guess

I appreciate you responding :)

are there any updates about this feature?
I'm trying to create shortcut links that can open websites from the wallpaper. However, I currently cannot find any related API in the documentation.
If it's not available, I'm also curious if there are plans to update this feature in the future.
Thank you.
