After I reinstalled steam, my wallpaper engine in the taskbar has no icon. It's like blank white.
I tried reinstalling wallpaper engine but it still didn't fix. Any help please?

Step 1: Open Wallpaper engine
Step 2: Pin it to Taskbar
Step 3: Close Wallpaper engine
Step 4: Open Wallpaper engine from pinned taskbar

windows should give you an error saying this shortcut is not longer available in your system. Do you want to remove now?

Step 5: Click yes and now you should get the icon when you open Wallpaper engine.

If above method didn't work try this as well.

Step 1: Open Wallpaper engine
Step 2: Pin it to Taskbar
Step 3: Close Wallpaper engine
Step 4: Right click on pinned Wallpaper engine.
Step 5: Right click on Wallpaper engine from the menu
Step 6: Click on properties
Step 7: In the general tab, look for "Location"
Step 8: Go to that location and delete the shortcut in that folder.

And then open Wallpaper engine, it should be fixed.

It's a Windows issue with the Windows icon cache. Usually the issue resolves itself but you can also google guides on how to fix the WIndows icon cache.

Note: If method one didn't tell you "Do you want to remove now", instead telling you the path in the error message, go to that path, delete the .INK, then it will fix
