Wallpaper engine problem with ultrawide 144hz new monitor

CPU : Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU : GTX 1070 8GB
RAM : 32GB


The screen sometime appear in these weird structure
This problem keep appear randomly.

I try DDU and install old/new driver
I try different setting on monitor menu 1 by 1
I try change multiple setting on NVIDIA control panel:
-Enable/disable adaptive sync
-Resolution & referesh rate

Also tried multiple setting on Wallpaper engine.

And this problem only appear on DP connected monitor (need DP 1.4 for ultrawide)

I don't think this is related to Wallpaper Engine, from your video it even looks like the issue is occurring in a game. This must be some sort of driver or hardware fault. We also use 144 Hz ultrawides without any issues.

This error can occur while browsing web, watching youtube, replying WhatsApp's message.
In fact, ever since I uninstalled it yesterday. The problem does not appear anymore.

The weird part is that it kept appearing on my ultrawide monitor while having no issue on my 24" 1080p.

I tried to refund, but sadly steam consider only less than 2hr usage.

You can contact Steam support and tell them your PC cannot run it. We have no direct control or influence on refunds I'm afraid.

However, this is a graphics driver error one way or another. So you could contact Nvidia and kindly ask them to fix this or ask them what configuration option in the driver settings might be the reason for this.
