Just not showing up

I got a new computer and installed wallpaper engine but none of the wallpapers are displaying on my screen at all. They play sound, they even showed up on my keyboard, but my display just has its normal wallpaper no matter what. I don't have the foggiest as to what could be causing it as previously it has always worked without a hitch so this is my last resort option. (I did try searching for it but I couldn't find a similar issue within the first few pages of results on the steam forums.)
