Unusually High CPU Usage?
Hi! I just bought Wallpaper Engine not long ago and everything seemed to be running fine but sometimes when I have things live Spotify, Games, Discord, Chrome, etc. open in the background or while I'm using them my CPU usage is close to 100%. If I have just wallpaper engine running with nothing else open it takes around 25-30% of my CPU is that normal?
(I have a dual monitor setup)

My wallpapers that I have been recently running are

"Anime Snow on a pink sunset Enhanced Version [Animated]"
+
"学习"

My PC specs right now are

AMD Ryzen 3 3200g
Nvidia GTX 1650
Seagate Barracuda 2TB (2018)
120GB ADATA SU800 SDD
Kingston Hyperx DDR4 3200 C18 2x8GB
Asus PRIME B450M-A

Thanks for the help!

That should solve the problem but let me know if it does not. The last Razer Synapse update was bugged and we think a clean reinstallation fixes this.

The razer synapse says there is an update available should I just click that or still continue with a reinstall?

Please reinstall the complete suite of Razer software and also make sure Wallpaper Engine is not running while you reinstall it. Ignore the update.

Hey there, testing out uninstalling reinstalling right now. Don't want to lose this thread.
Currently my cpu usage for wallpaper engine is 34%. In the process of uninstalling razer synapse as we speak.

Edit: So it seems to have worked!
I really didn't feel like going through the hassle of uninstalling razer synapse, but if you make sure it's synced to the cloud beforehand it takes all of 10 minutes to uninstall>restart>reinstall. it downloads your profile from before and ez pz and no more high CPU. Before it was 34% JUST to wallpaper engine, now its down to 13% for my whole PC. :)
