I started the system this morning (having done an Nvidia driver update last night for my graphics card, it's the only change I can think of) and the behaviour I am seeing is the system starts, I see the desktop then shortly after start the screens blank to a colour that was predominantly shown at the time of blanking.
So for example if I start windows, then go to a web page showing mostly a white screen, the screen will blank to white, if I go to steam, it blanks to blue / grey. After blanking I have no control options, no mouse, keyboard etc. Nothing responds at all the only option I have is to reset the computer manually using the reset button.
The screen blanking happens within moments of start and I shut down Wallpaper Engine quickly on the last restart and I have no blanking. Since disabling Wallpaper Engine I've not seen the issue again. Enabling it, the problem returns.
Do you have an idea what's causing it? I suspect it's a compatibility issue with Nvidia?
Thanks
Craig
Today, (just when i upload the nvidia geforce drivers), wallpaper engine seems to "stop workin" and the program dont start when i turn on the pc, i have the same problem/issue a few months ago but this time i cannot solve it with the same method (changing the priority of wallpaper engine).
Is there another way to fix it?

We are absolutely unable to change Wallpaper Engine to not crash with a broken driver, a working driver is not optional, it's required for any program to work right.
Everyone having this issue should fill out this form from Nvidia https://forms.gle/kJ9Bqcaicvjb82SdA because they need to know the specific hardware and circumstances in order to fix it. We will try to reproduce the problem with this driver too and if we notice problems as well, then we will also fill out this form. But we cannot fill out the form in your place, so if you have issues with this driver please fill it out for Nvidia to analyze.
Temporarily just don't use this driver if it breaks your system. If you want to use it anyway, then please fill out the form and wait for Nvidia to release a hotfix or completely new driver. Also, most people mention video acceleration issues so try using scene wallpapers instead of video wallpapers if you don't want to go back to a better driver.

Edit:
Just installed the 460.79 and Wallpaper Engine update. No issues so far.
My rig: Win10 x64 (20H2), i5 7600k, 16GB RAM, 1660Ti.
Edit:
Nvm wallpaper engine still seems to be crashing on launch even with the hotfix drivers.
It's still crashing for me on the newest NVIDIA drivers.
If you have this problem, please subscribe to this thread and fill out this form from Nvidia, it really helps:

Same problem here. Reinstalled both Wallpaper Engine and Nvidia drivers and still crashes on launch.
Thanks for the effort trying to reach Nvidia tho!
It turned out that hotfix was pretty much only for RTX effects in Quake RTX and no issues in other apps were addressed.
If you don't play Cyberpunk 2077 then please use the stable 457.51 driver until Nvidia releases a new driver that doesn't break.
Got it, I down graded the driver to 457.51 and everything is stable. Thank you!
