Import offline wallpaper feature issue
I found that using the, "import offline wallpaper" option adds a level of sharpness to images when they are in, "cover" mode. I tested this with JPG and PNG files, to find the same result, (it does not happen with the one GIF file I tested, and I don't know if it happens with any video files) Hopefully it's a fixable issue on my end, I'll test with another device later. Also a second small issue I have with the Import offline wallpaper feature, is If you use that option to add many from a folder, or just one, you have to keep the file in the same spot on your pc. I don't know if this is even able to be changed, but I think it would be nice if it created a, "project" folder in the, "my projects" location for each wallpaper. I understand that that is nearly useless, but it would feel a little nicer, and it would change the loading to work the same way all other wallpapers do. (It seemed like the offline ones loaded differently).

PS: Couldn't decide where to post this. Problem solving or suggestions. It kind of belongs in both, but I'm posting in problem solving, because it belongs there more I think.. Thanks for your time.

Cover will zoom the picture in so a loss of quality is to be expected. It really depends on the image resolution and the resolution of your screen. If you think it looks unusually bad, you can also try and share a source sample image (as is) and a screenshot of your desktop via support@wallpaperengine.io and we'll have a look if there might be an issue.

The offline wallpapers are not copied because many users who wanted this feature just wanted to mass import private photos into Wallpaper Engine. Copying all the files would create unnecessary copies of all these files and fill up the hard drive, so from a technical point of view I think it's not a good idea and unnecessary to do so as there is no point in having a copy of an image used. If you wanted to, you could just manually copy paste all the images into the wallpaper_engine directory and then import them from there.
