video loop bug

everytime a video loop end i get a black screen for 0.5 sec then video restart and it does that on any video wallpaper.

i5-6600k 3.50ghz overclocked to 4.1
gtx 1070
16g ram
window 7 home premium

Hey,
Can you try veryifing the application and/or switching back from the beta branch (in case you were on beta)?

The black flashes on Windows 7 were happening there, so I'm hoping that's the reason.

i did not have this issue before the update

Are you possibly playing the videos with a different playback rate (other than 100)? Otherwise I would suggest re-installing and making sure you're not in the beta anymore, I cannot see any possible changes in the Windows 7 code that could cause this just yet (except for the playback rate, so far I have not heard about issues yet but who knows).

i am not using any beta branch everything started after the previous update from november 1
this also happend only with video wallpaper

from reading some post this is the same issue as him, i get a pitch black screen instaid of darknening

Alright, but please let me know if it happens again, unfortunately the video player on Windows 7 seems very susceptible to flashing, it might have an internal bug from what I can tell.

The flashing must be very annoying so I'm trying what I can to prevent it.

Hello there Team!
I have the same problem, or even sometimes different behaviour without changing anything.
I have 2 videos set for two different screens, they are 20s long (both), without sound.
And they're WMV videos (I've checked, that mp4 container have more issues in Wallpaper Engine).

Before every loop I have black screen for the same period of time, as Op of this thread.
Sometimes video stops on second screen, without coming back. And sometimes when my system starts Wallpaper Engine don't play those videos at all.

My miscellaneous settings in WE:
I have turned on High priority,
without adjusting Windows colors,

My advanced options:
Graphic API is DirectX 11
Video loading from the disk.
Video loop the best for me is Sync Clock (on default video is stoping after one run)
And there is no video audio output.

I have i7-4770K
8GB RAM
2x SLI Way GTX660 SC EVGA
Asus Sabertooth Z87
Windows 7, x64, SP1, without any updates from Widnows, without any antiviruses, system is clean (without viruses aswell). System is original of course, from original SP1 disc.
I've just removed Windows update, Windows defender, and I;ve changed few thing in system, that should not affect WE. I've tried before DreamScene, so I know that videos was played nice without any pause and glitch.

I'm using DisplayFusion also, but I've tried few times to run Wallpaper Engine without this app.
Any tips about system reqirements? Any tips what should I do about that? Maybe change something in program? Change video format?

Any tip will be nice to hear, because I relly like this program.
