Twitch.tv Stream watching issues

Hi,

When I have wallpaper engine playing (on either of my monitors) when I'm watching a stream on twitch.tv stream I get lots of skipped frames.

Has anyone else encountered this and possibly have a fix?

If you have multiple videos playing, maybe the video decoder cannot keep up, then I would suggest to let it pause with the playback options. You can also disable video hardware acceleration but that would put all of the work on the CPU which you may not want.

So there is pretty much no chance of watching twitch and having WPE playing?

Did you try using the CPU instead? Something has to do the work to play the video. You could also try to disable hardware decoding in your browser, maybe that would make more sense in this case.

I've tried that in chrome, it does make it better, however I still get some frame drop and the streams don't quite seem as smooth.

Is the wallpaper video maybe just too hefty, like 4k or 60 FPS? Otherwise the only option is to have it pause I guess.
