The application crashes when left on idle for too long
Hello, I've been having issues where after leaving it running after a while I get this specific error with I believe dx11? I googled for a bit and noticed other posts from others with similar issues.
Edit: I forgot to mention my pc gets really laggy, can hardly close the error message itself without having to wait a while. . .

Yeah, looks like your DirectX is crashing for no apparent reason, it just fails to read your memory. I do not see anything odd about your setup, it may be a hardware issue or some sort of severe driver problem.

What I would recommend is that you try and switch to the 32 Bit version of Wallpaper Engine (it's better anyway and maybe some 64 Bit library is broken on your system). To do this, turn off Wallpaper Engine completely (right-click on the tray icon -> Quit) and then restart the 32 Bit version via Steam. Afterwards, turn the autostart off and back on to register the 32 Bit version as default.

As a precautionary measure, I would also re-install your graphics card drivers from scratch. Download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website and - very important - make sure to select the "Perform clean re-installation" checkbox during setup.

Thank you for replying, I've reinstalled my drivers (cleanly), also switched to 32 bit. I purchased this recently and fell in love with all the customization options. Thanks again.
