Wallpaper Editor not working

I wanted to try using the editor for the first time, it opened but I couldn't do anything. When i go to New a new window opens. That's all what works. All buttons including the close button don't work. What to do?

To share it while the editor is open, you can launch the log tool from here directly:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\bin\diagnostics64.exe

Yes, but then you would continue this over e-mail with my colleague, which is fine of course if you don't want to post it here. Otherwise please post a link to it here so I can check it out.
