Wallpaper dissapear while switching hdmi source. Monitor + TV.

I have 2 sources connected to my monitor using hdmi switch. PC and PS4, also PC is connected to TV with second cable. When i switch Monitor source to PS4 desktop goes to TV and wallpaper dissapear playlist also dissapear.

They are two different monitors. You can save the playlist and such with the floppy icon and then put it on the other monitor too.

I know but it dissapear from both monitor.

Playlist and wallpaper appear when I click "next wallpaper" on tray icon.

Okay that's different then. Is your Windows background set to black? Or is it black because the video window still exists but turned black?

Okay I think I figured it out.

One question though, I guess in your case you would expect to not have to set the same wallpaper/playlist for the other monitor, right? Because Windows would keep the wallpaper too if you switch monitors?

No, I just want wallpaper from Wallpaper Engine playlist, can be random, can be same on both monitors. My problem is after switching 1st monitor source to PS4, PC output is switching to 2nd monitor, Wallpaper Engine unload wallpaper, playlist dissapear and wallpaper is set to windows default. I would like to have wallpapers from program all the times.

Yeah I know, sorry, I fixed the issue that you were having (but I haven't updated the build yet).


I thought it might be annoying that you currently have to set the same playlist for each monitor, because you have only one monitor connected at a time, but switch between two models. Does that make sense? It is maybe hard to explain.

No problem. I can set playlist for each monitor. I'm using one screen at time. I'm switching to 2nd monitor when watching movies or sometimes playing local multiplayer games. My 1st monitor has 1 hdmi input and probably when switching to PS4 source PC graphics card disconnect one output (default 1st monitor) and 2nd monitor output is active (but not used - powered off, standby mode). My current build is 1.0.818. I will wait for update.

I updated the beta, can you try (Build 1.0.821)?

I changed it to make it more similar to Windows, to carry the wallpaper over. The other system can still be used with the option 'monitor identification' : 'device path' though.
