Second monitor not displaying any wallpaper

I've had steam wallpaper for a long time and recently it has only been showing my wallpaper on one screen. When in the programme i can select the monitor and change the wallpaper, the app seems to think the wallpaper is being displayed (i can even hear music playing) however i cannot see it i'm just greeted with the same old windows wallpaper.

another problem i have been getting is that it is not starting wallpaper engine on computer startup, this mean i actively have to go onto my app library and start wallpaper engine, every time...

Try disabling the auto start in the settings and re-enabling it again to make sure it is set up in the right way. The Windows auto start can be broken by many things like the files being moved or something just removing it, so this should make sure it is up to date.

If it still doesn't work after that, try it without the 'high priority' option.

What happened at the time that the other monitor stopped showing the wallpaper? Was maybe a driver update or a new software installed?
