Error: This wallpaper cannot be opened because it is missing its files.
Been getting this error for a while and can't seem to find a fix. If the monitor turns off for any reason (sleep, shutdown, or just turning monitor power off) I get this error and a black screen but if I open wallpaper engine I can just select and use the same wallpaper just fine. It doesn't happen on the TV that I also have linked.

After sleep or on startup this can simply happen because the wallpaper file path is not available to the program when it needs it. But I can't imagine why this would happen when only the monitor is powered off, that shouldn't trigger anything in Windows that makes files unavailable. Are you sure that it leads to this too?

Where exactly is the wallpaper saved and where exactly is Wallpaper Engine installed? You can find the wallpaper path by right clicking it and using 'open in explorer'.

Also try resetting your config to make sure there is nothing old stuck there. Maybe you had a playlist active before and all files but one got deleted or something like that.
