WE interfering with my instant replay software
Hey, so I've been using wallpaper engine for over 3 years now and I noticed that since a recent update, wallpaper engine interferes with my instant replay software. Basically, I use Radeon Software for my instant replays/recordings but whenever I have wallpaper engine running now, it just records a green screen. This made me unistall the program which makes me very sad, but I had to do it since I need the recordings on my pc. If anyone ever had this sort of issue, could they share with me the fix for it?

Apparently it's possible to configure relive so it ignores Wallpaper Engine: https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/1/1639794651173212810/#c1736635816360125522

(I assume instant replay is the same as 'relive' from AMD.)

Wallpaper Engine does not interfere with other applications, ReLive needs to simply ignore Wallpaper Engine. What you are experiencing is a bug in ReLive because it falsely detects it as a game (or something like that). Contact AMD support and ask them about this issue. From what we know, you can configure ReLive in a way that it ignores Wallpaper Engine but we cannot help you with that in detail - you should reach out to AMD about that.

Make sure the configuration in Relive is correct and was saved, that's the only thing we know about and that's how AMD intends Relive to work with multiple programs and games.

The only workaround from our end is having Wallpaper Engine automatically close the wallpaper while playing, which you can also do already:

As a work around, you can use the automatic stop function in Wallpaper Engine to make it shut down any rendering. Relive should really then ignore Wallpaper Engine because it doesn't display anything anymore. You can either try setting the fullscreen playback option to stop or add an application rule for specific games.

Like Tim said, this problem is ultimately on AMDs end. We are happy to change whatever is necessary to make this work with less trouble but AMD gives us absolutely nothing. Relive is build this way and we've already done everything that's available right now.

If you are sure that this solution does not work for you right now: https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/1/1639794651173212810/#c1736635816360125522 then you should file this as a bug report to AMD. This is the only thing AMD provides to control what Relive records and if that's not working then it should just get fixed so Relive works better.
