BBLean / Blackbox for Windows Shell issue

Does anyone have experience with getting Wallpaper Engine to work with BBLean? The wallpaper BBLean uses is connected to whatever image Windows has set and it overrides Engine even though it's still running.

BBLean has not been updated in 11 years, I am surprised it even works with Windows 10 to be honest. I don't have any recommendations for you but from my experience with other abandonware (like Fraps for example), these things can be quite buggy, especially when their last updates were released before Windows 8 and Windows 10 were even available.
