Corsair K55 keyboard issues
I have a k55 Keyboard with the latest ICUE software for both the program and the keyboard. I'm able to make my own lighting effects but whenever I try to use Wallpaper Engine my keyboard goes dark (no lights at all). This happens with the Corsair wallpaper as well (The one you don't have to check mark "Enable ICUE Effects"

I have the ICUE in my plugins in Wallpaper Engine

Other lighting effects work fine

Whenever I tick the "Enable ICUE Effects" box OR use the Corsair ICUE wallpaper, I get "Lightings are exclusively controlled by Third Part Application"

Any ideas?

So, apparently the Corsair K55 RGB does not have per-key lighting and iCUE does not allow third-party programs to change the colors of the keyboard. The fact that it turns the lights off sounds like a bug in iCUE to me, it should just not do anything with the keyboard colors. You should probably send a support request to Corsair directly in order to bring this to their attention.

Do you have any other iCUE-compatible software installed? It could be that there is some sort of conflict between the two applications. Where are you getting the message regarding exclusively controlling the lights? I think this is just a notification that Wallpaper Engine is in control of the lights since WE uses exclusive mode for its functionality.

I can't think of any software that might be conflicting with iCUE. I get the message within the iCUE Lighting options for my keyboard, where I would normally have options to control the keyboard lighting.
I agree, I think the iCUE software is letting me know that Wallpaper engine is taking control of the ligthing, but the problem is that my keyboard goes dark and no lighting effects come up at all when that message comes up (Lightings are exclusively controlled by Third Party Application".

Could you run our scan tool and post the log file as described here so that I can get a better picture of your system?

Ah well thats unfortunate. I will consider making a ticket, as it is an older keyboard. Thank you for all your help :)

Ok so for those of you who are having this problem, I have a fix.

Open WE and go into the settings tab (top right), then go into the plugins tab and deselect iCUE & SDK box. That fixed my K70 LUX from being black for no reason.
