How to Download Without Workshop Content
I recently just obtained a Microsoft Surface 6 with 128GB internal storage. My wallpapers collection has reached about 80GB on my main desktop and laptops on their overflow hard drives. Obviously, I can't get more storage for the Surface but I want to use wallpaper engine. is there any way to download wallpaper engine without it immediately getting ALL 100GB of wallpapers?

You can copy Wallpaper Engine from its installation directory to the Surface manually and run it without Steam. Steam doesn't allow (partially) disabling Workshop downloads.

Right click a wallpaper in the Workshop and choose 'open in explorer' then you can find the files for specific wallpapers.
