The error message means that RivaTuner was manipulating the program which can lead to crashes or other bugs, but in theory you can configure RivaTuner to not manipulate Wallpaper Engine. The event you had selected in the event viewer notes that your graphics driver crashed.
Try sharing the log file from our scan tool as well if you are unsure:

Either way, generally it's not possible for Wallpaper Engine to cause full system freezes, it's always a hint at that there is an underlying problem with your system, we did a bit of a write-up on that here:

I'm talking about the error in the screenshot: https://imgur.com/0G6Nwc2

For now I'll just disable WE and RT and since I did a clean drivers installation with DDU if the pc freezes again it'd mean that it's a hardware problem.
The crash is unfortunately absolutely random and Wallpaper Engine just fails to access your RAM which is a good indicator that either some application is interfering with your computer (in this case possibly RivaTuner) or you have a hardware / driver issue.
Reinstalled Windows last night. Only thing running was WE this morning when it froze again. Not going to run WE for a couple of days and see if there are any issues.
Hi, if you later need more help figuring out why you have this issue it would be best for us if you could make a separate thread about this. The issue on your end is likely completely different from the issue the OP has in this thread, because Wallpaper Engine alone can't lead to such a problem. Assuming you only have this problem with Wallpaper Engine running, it's still very likely a hardware failure or some other severe issue with your graphics card drivers, especially with video wallpapers.
Again, see this thread for more information on system freezes when Wallpaper Engine is running:

So if you still need help after your tests, please make a new thread and provide this log in the new thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/1/3307213006836797842/
Thanks!
