Taskbar won't change color

My taskbar remains the same white default color and won't change. "Adjust windows color" is set to everything.

You have to disable the light mode in Windows. The white task bar does not support color changing correctly, it will only work with the normal dark mode for the task bar.

Im currently using an unactivated windows 10. It doesn't let me change light mode to dark mode- is there any way to do so?

Nevermind, I figured out how to enable darkmode- however, my task bar still hasn't changed color?

Have you changed the setting in the menu of Windows or something else due to the restrictions? I don't know if it will even work on an unactivated version of Windows. But like the built-in warning said, you will not be able to restore the colors so using this feature on an unactivated version is generally not a good idea.

In general, it should work as long as the task bar doesn't use the light mode, maybe you have to restart the wallpaper or program.
