I can't get the hotkeys to work. any help?
when I try to enter the hotkey I want, it doesn't stay selected it'll just go back to "please enter key combination" can someone help me out?

You are probably not pressing a hotkey combination. Hotkeys must always have at least CTRL, ALT, SHIFT etc. and some other character. "A + B" is not a valid hotkey. "CTRL + B" would be a valid hotkey.
