Specifically the "Fixing intermittent sound with background recording tools" section.
I don't want to create any rules for Wallpaper engine on its settings tab :( I just want my wallpapers to mute when some app (discord, chrome, etc) reproduces audio.
How do you guys know exactly what app is playing an audio and making the wallpapers mute? If I knew I could create a rule for this especific app, but I have no clue. I've checked audio mixer and couldn't see a thing.
Also, if I get any solution for this I'll reply here. :)
Also you can look at the Windows mixer settings if there is any other application with a moving bar while Wallpaper Engine is playing audio. Then that other application is what you'd have to exclude.
If none of these are causing this, could you please share another log without playing league of legends? This would make it easier to read.
Also try changing the graphics API back to DirectX 10/11 to improve driver behavior in general.
I have installed "Medal" (clip recorder app) weeks ago. Maybe that's the cause of the problem?
I'm trying to uninstall apps that start up with Windows and that I don't make any use, hope this will help me.
About the log, sure, I will save another one and send you right away on that same e-mail conversation I started. - This time with no League of Legends or any other game running.
Thanks again for your fast and caring support!
It is likely something like that. I also saw Avast is injected into Wallpaper Engine, be sure to configure Avast to ignore your wallpaper_engine directory, it likely has a whitelist feature or something like that.
Yes, you can change the option in the "General" tab of the settings, currently you have set it to OpenGL (which will be removed with the next update anyway).
