Bug report on latest version(1.0.1276): Audio from the live wallpapers is detected as audio from other applications, therefore, when selecting "Mute" option on "Other application playing audio" in "Performance" options tab, it mutes itself as soon as it starts playing audio.

I tested multiple wallpapers with audio and all show the same issue. Please fix. Thank you.

You likely have Nvidia Shadow Play or similar software installed and enabled which is known to cause these sort of audio issues because it hooks into Wallpaper Engine. You can try and right-click on Wallpaper Engine in Steam and you will find an experimental scan tool there, see if that shows any software which is known to cause issues on your system.

Indeed, I have AMD's ReLive Instant Replay on which is recording the desktop and games constantly. The system diagnostics scanner didn't report any errors though.
No conflicts with any other applications have been detected so far.
Please click on 'Open FAQ' below if you are experiencing any issues with Wallpaper Engine.
I tried muting the ReLive app in volume mixer and it worked. You were right. Can you add the ReLive app to some sort of exception list in a future update in order to make this work please? Process name: amddvr.exe
Thank you.

PS: Suggestion:
Only mute/pause the wallpaper audio if the sound coming from other apps is loger or equal to 5 seconds for example. This way, it won't stop every time an app like Steam or Facebook chat emits a short message notification sound.

It seems there are 2 processes that are causing that when it comes to AMD's ReLive since the previous update didn't fix the issue.
Please add "amdow.exe" to the exception list too. Thank you.

Latest update giving you the possibility to create your own rules for each process was the solution. Thank you, devs. You are awesome.

For AMD users with ReLive on, go to: Settings, Performance, Application rules(edit), Create new rule, select or type amddvr.exe, condition - Is playing audio, Wallpaper playback - Keep running, Create.
